Coaches,

Good morning! Below you will find information about North Country Softball Camps and Clinics - please pass this information along to your team.
Minnesota Softball would also like to also invite you and your team to our fall tournament which is held Saturday, September 27th - Sunday, September 28th. Please let us know if you would like tickets sent to you so that you and your team can attend for FREE.

Here is some information for you and your players as they continue to make plans for the summer. We are offering a bunch of softball camps this summer and fall that might be of interest to you and allow you to continue to learn more about the game you love so much. Specific camp information can be found at our website at www.northcountrysoftball.com or you can always call co-head coach Lisa Bernstein at 612.270.2543 if you have any questions.

Camps that we offer this SUMMER:

ELITE CAMP - This camp is designed for the high school aged athletes who are interested in possibly playing softball at the collegiate level. This camp is broken down into positions and teams and a maximum of 52 players are allowed to attend. Campers will work in settings similar to a college softball practice and advanced level techniques and strategies will be taught. We have an ELITE CAMP in July.

FUNDAMENTAL CAMP - This July camp us designed for softball players from the 5th-12th grade and can be taken as a day or overnight camp. Fundamental skills of all positions, hitting, bunting, base running, sliding, and other fun camp activities are covered in this five (5) day camp.

ROOKIE and JUNIOR SKILLS CAMPS - These DAY camps run 3-4 days in June, July and August and are designed for the new softball player who wants to learn more about the game. The numbers in this camp are small and a full day of activity is planned for each participant.

We offer the following camps this FALL:

TUESDAY NIGHT CLINIC - For six (6) consecutive Tuesdays starting September 2nd - October 7th, we offer hitting, infield, and pitching instruction. Each session is one (1) hour long and campers can do one (1) hour of each for a total of three (3) hours per Tuesday night or campers can attend two (2) hours of clinics each Tuesday night or simply choose one (1) skill to work on each Tuesday night. The clinic groups are limited to a maximum of 16 players in each session.

HOLIDAY CAMP - This two (2) day camp is held on November 7-8 at the University of Minnesota Field House and goes over skills in hitting, defense, throwing, condition, agility and more.
